When referring to 'age' we mean any age - certain factors may have an impact on different groups of people, therefore we aim to ensure we recognise these.

Every year thousands of new students from various age groups come to the University of Manchester to study. We are committed to providing a positive learning and studying environment free from discrimination, harassment, or victimisation on the grounds of age where all students are treated with respect and dignity. Therefore whether you're joining us straight from 6th form, after a gap year or returning to study after a break of several years we aim to maintain a genuine and suitable environment for all students regardless of age.
